Wednesday Night Live

Good Morning All!!

Please remember that this Wednesday night the high school kids who are going to Ethiopia this summer will be preparing and serving dinner.  Donations will be taken for dinner.  If you have not made reservations, it is not too late!  Please email Kelley at Kelley.woodard@comcast.net by noon on Wednesday.  The group will also be selling t-shirts for $15 and various doorprizes will be offered for  small donations...so bring some extra dollars!!  Each kid must raise the $3100 cost of the trip.  All proceeds of the night will go toward their trip.

Thanks so much for enabling these kids to be the hands and feet of Christ...not just a mouth as our study so eloquently stated!
In Him,

Kelley

Greetings in Jesus' name!  We at Washington Hills UMC, 6216 Hadley Drive, Chattanooga, are presenting a play to commemorate Black History Month.  The date is Sunday, February 28 and the time is at 2:00 p.m. here at the church.  The name of the play is:  "We've Come This Far By Faith" and the theme is the beginning of the African-American Church.
Please announce this event and support us by encouraging others to attend.  All are welcome and we believe knowledge of shared paths and experiences combats fear, doubt, hate and mistrust.  We have surely all "come this far by faith" and recognize our future is tied together in faith.

Wednesday Night Live

Hi all,

I know that there is snow in the forcast.  It looks like the snow will begin right around supper time.  The potatos are already being cooked, so let's plan on at least having supper together.  We will make the decision if we need to cancel programming later on.  I do not want anyone to be in danger driving, so if you want to come and get your supper to go, please do so!!
See you in a bit,

WNL crew

Mission Never Stops. 10-Fold Continues.

Health and wholeness for all children may seem to be a rather unreachable goal. But progress is made every day through the work done at the General Board of Global Ministries and by dollars raised through The Advance. By becoming an advocate of this project--Children's Health and Wholeness--you automatically raise $1.00 toward the goal. All it takes is one click, and you can click once each day!

Through education, networking, advocacy, and resourcing, Global Ministries supports children struggling with poverty, violence, abuse, exploitation, and other challenges. Learn more here.

Please join us Thursday, February 10, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time for a live conversation with Joseph Bradley, a mission intern serving and improving the lives of children in Cambodia. Joseph will share stories and answer questions about his calling and his ministry, and how his work directly affects children who are on the street, orphaned, or in need of care to become healthy. Visit www.10-fold.org/live to participate in this webcast. If you miss it, come back at 8:00 p.m. ET for a rebroadcast of the event.

Don't forget--a click from you makes you an advocate. An advocate equals a contribution. Mission never stops. So please, be counted. Check www.10-fold.org for more opportunities every month.
