Dear Friends in Ministry,

Greetings from western North Carolina and from the Hinton Rural Life Center! I shared the following information with you previously, regarding an upcoming event at the Hinton Center. I am hoping that you might be willing to make it available, again, to those in your area.

Could you distribute the following information about Pathways Through Loss with your District churches, clergy, and laity? I have attached a PDF, included a web link, and offered a brief description. I would be most grateful for your constituents to know about this event since Hinton is a Jurisdictional mission agency.

Thank you!

The Hinton Rural Life Center is offering a retreat June 8-10 called Pathways Through Loss. Loss is both a universal and a deeply personal experience. The Pathways Through Loss retreat will be an exploration of the nature of loss, how we face it or avoid it, and some of the ways that we walk (or run) through it. It is open to anyone who is interested in thinking more deeply about loss (which we understand to be more than the experience of death) and how loss affects our lives and the lives of many around us. Please share the detailed information at the attached link with your churches, and contact Amy Spivey if you have questions. (amy@hintoncenter.org).

We are looking forward to a wonderful retreat weekend, and I hope that you or others in your area might be able to participate. Take care!

Grace and peace,

Amy Spivey
