Project Homeless Connect

Dear Chattanooga United Methodists:

The city of Chattanooga and area faith-based groups are again preparing to host Project Homeless Connect -  a day of connection and collaboration for our homeless brothers and sisters from across the city and region.   We are again looking for volunteers to help with many of the important parts of this outreach, and we are in need of area churches to help with transportation for this event. UMC churches have played a critically important role in the transportation piece of Project Homeless Connect, and have helped bring our our homeless friends from locations around the city to the PHC.

We again will be hosting PHC at the National Guard Armory on Holtzclaw Avenue from 9-3 on Thursday, September 30.   Please contact Mike Feely at 423-320-3637 or revfeely@yahoo.com if you can help with transportation or wish to volunteer. We will be sending out another e-mail notice with more information about the event and other ways to help and volunteer. Please pass that information along to your church members and friends.

Sincerely,

Mike Feely
